3,200 Residents Benefit From Adelabu Free Medical Outreach In Ibadan

Over  3,200 people from across Ibadan have so far benefited from a week-long free medical exercise organized  by friends of the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial candidate in Oyo State, Chief Adebayo Adelabu.

Speaking on the free medical outreach which ended on Thursday,  the leader of the Medical team, Dr. Tola Olayemi  disclosed  that the medical outreach aimed at   connecting  with the people of the state and to provide free medical checks and free drugs to adults and children.

According to Dr Olayemi, the medical outreach included free tests on hypertension, diabetes, visual disturbances and malaria, while free drugs were given on  antimalarials (adult and children), antibiotics, deworming, anti-ulcer, pain relievers, multivitamins, and iron supplements.

During the outreach, the medical team, comprising of 12 medical doctors, three pharmacists and nurses visited Eleyele, Sango Motor Park, Bodija Market, Kudeti, Oje and Oniyanrin Market, Apete, Ologuneru, Ido, Sabo, Idi-Ape, Iwo Road,, Monatan, Muslim, Oremeji and Alakia.

Some of the beneficiaries while expressing their gratitude, lauded Adelabu for his humanitarian gesture and commended the medical team for taken their time to volunteer to serve the people.

The beneficiaries of the Adelabu Free Medical outreach urged  the APC gubernatorial candidate to continue with the exercise if he eventually emerge as next governor of Oyo State.
