The All Progressives Congress (APC) elected House of Representatives members for Ibadan North Federal Constituency, Prince Musiliudeen   Akinremi on Friday advised the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Oyo State,  Engineer  Seyi Makinde and other PDP members in the constituency  to accept the defeat of PDP candidate in last Saturday National Assembly election in good fate.

Prince Akinremi gave the advice while while addressing his numerous supporters and well wishers during the celebration of his electoral victory, held at his Foundation House, Prince Akinremi Foundation (PAF), Yemetu Barracks, Ibadan.

The newly elected lawmaker, stressed that  it was laughable and illogical for the PDP gubernatorial candidate in the state to have seen irregularities in all the constituencies won by the APC in the Presidential and National Assembly elections, but sees nothing wrong in the Oyo South Senatorial district won by his party.

He maintained that it was unfortunate that the PDP gubernatorial candidate didn’t learn from the political maturity, as well as the spirit of sportsmanship displayed by Governor  Abiola Ajimobi, who congratulated Dr. Muhammed Kola Balogun of PDP after he defeated him at the poll.

According to Prince Aderemi, the people of Ibadan North Federal constituency had already spoken with their votes and that the PDP gubernatorial candidate should wait till after Chief  Bayo Adelabu, the Oyo APC gubernatorial candidate in the state wins March 9, 2019 governorship election to be able to challenge APC victories altogether

Emphasizing  that the PDP gubernatorial candidate, Engineer Seyi Makinde “derives joy in chasing shadows.”, Prince Akinremi dedicated  his electoral victory to God and the people, saying ” PDP is yet to proffered anything proficient, concerning better alternatives to the laudable achievements recorded so far in the state by the Governor Ajimobi-led APC administration, in terms of provision of adequate security of lives and property, improvement on health services, educational standards, solid road developments and infrastructures.

On the March 9 governorship election in Oyo state, the.Canadian, American, Liberian-based businessman stressed that based on the electioneering campaigns, governorship debates of all gubernatorial candidates of major political parties in the state, it was obvious to electorate that Bayo Adelabu, the APC standard bearer in the state is the best man to occupy the Agodi Government House seat.

Prince Akinremi said Chief Bayo Adelabu has no doubt of displayed outstanding knowledge of the workings of government all through, along with emphasis on a blueprint of how he intends to move the state to a next level of unparalleled development in all aspects of governance for the benefit of all and sundry, saying, the basis of campaign of Engineer Makinde and his  party has only been that the party’s gubernatorial candidate is a philanthropist and a business mogul, including the sponsorship of negative propaganda, watery and illogical criticisms along with assassination of the characters of political opponents.

He however charged  his supporters to double their efforts in ensuring that the APC wins with landslide in all the 12 wards of Ibadan North in the forthcoming governorship and State Assembly elections, Prince Akinremi further pointed out that the governing of a state is more than just being a philanthropist or being  successful in one’s business, adding that for the fact that Chief  Bayo Adelabu, the APC governorship candidate in the Pacesetter state is also a philanthropist who doesn’t make noise about it, as well as one who has rendered quintessential services all through as a top manager of the largest international audit firm in the world, to top sensitive posts in both public and private sectors to the Apex Bank of the country in his youth, it would only be prejudicial for anybody to dispute it that his contributions to the development of the society at large, especially to his state of origin is yet untapped.”
