The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Zamfara State governorship candidate, Alhaji Bello Mohammed Matawale has donated a Peugeot 406 Station Wagon car to the correspondents chapel of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Zamfara State Council.
Presetting the car to the Correspondents chapel, Matawalle said the vehicle was to afford the working journalists in the state carry out their duties efficiently and effectively.
“This is just to show you that I a appreciate your contributions in the state through your objective reportage of events”, he said.
Matawalle promised to donate two 38 seater buses to the correspondents chapel if elected governor during the 9th March governorship election.
In his response, the chairman of the correspondents chapel, Alhaji Umar Mohammed Maradun thanked Matawalle for the donation.
Maradun said the vehicle will ease movement of the working journalists in the state.
