Katsina State Governor Aminu Bello Masari has said that his second term administration, when elected will continue to focus more on revitalization of the education, healthcare service, water supply and infrastructural development in the state.

This will be in addition to focusing on improving security situation and providing purposeful leadership through upholding public trust.

Alhaji Aminu Bello Masari said this, when he granted audience to editors of selected print media from Abuja.

The Governor further explained that, his administration within the last three and a half year has pursued security with vigor, towards ensuring the protection of lives and properties of the citizenry.

He said government is now poised in addressing the issue of kidnapping, and prayed that very soon the issue will come a thing of the past.

The Governor however, urged people in the State to continue to cooperate with the security personnel, by exposing criminals and their criminalities within the society.

Alhaji Aminu Bello also recounts of his administration’s successes in improving the foundation education, healthcare delivery, water supply, and infrastructural development in the state.

He explained that, when the APC administration came onboard in twenty fifteen, almost all infrastructural facilities, in education, and health sector are in deplorable condition.

The Governor appreciated the Federal Government for its commitment towards completion the Zobe Dam Water Supply project.

This he noted will help to address the water shortage faced by many communities in the state.

When asked on clamoring of restructuring in Nigeria, the Governor said he will prefer devolution of power rather than restructuring.

He condemned former President Obasanjo’s claim of integrity as nothing to ride home.

The Governor was later, presented with an Award of recognition in wealth-creation to the people of the State by an Abuja based communication outfit, “The Likewhyte”.

The State Commissioner of Information Alhaji Hamza Borodo Coordinated the Interview parley with the Governor held in his office.
