Tambuwal Pays Condolence Visit To Family Of Dr. Malami Shehu Ma’aji Over Mom’s Demise

Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal of Sokoto State has on Wednesday paid a condolence visit to Dr. Malami Shehu Ma’aji over the demise of his mother, Hajiya Maimunatu Yakubu Ma’aji.

The Governor, accompanied by other top functionaries, stormed the family house along with his entourage to offer prayers for the late Hajiya Maimunatu Yakubu Ma’aji.

“May the Almighty Allah forgive her shortcomings and the family take heart and the children that she left behind God should bless them,” he said.

His Excellency was received for family by the Chairman Advisory Council NESO, Dr. Malami Shehu Ma’aji, who appreciated the governor for the condolence visit and the prayers.

Late Hajiya Maimunatu Yakubu Ma’aji died at the age of 90 on February 3, 2019.

QShe left behind four children and 30 grandchildren among whom are Chairman Advisory Council NESO, Dr. Malami Shehu Ma’aji, eldest son, Alhaji Muazu Ma’aji, Hajiya Inno Ma’aji and Hajia Asmau Ma’aji.

She has since been laid to rest according to Islamic rites.
