Our Administration Committed To National Development – Buhari

President Buhari Assisted By APC National Chairman Adams Oshiomhole In Lifting Governor Ganduje As The Party's Governorship Flag Bearer In Kano State.


President Muhammadu Buhari has  said that his administration would continue to promote national  development in every sector as seen in their first tenure in office.

He gave  the assurance in Kano on Thursday when his campaign train visited the state for re-election bid.

He pointed out that his government is gradually succeeding in the area of war against corruption, security, providing employment opportunities through agricultural projects, economic progress of the country and other meaningful projects as seen everywhere.

The president thanked the people of Kano State for the usual support and love they always rendered him since he  opted into politics and assured the Nigerian citizens that his government would continue to put the country on a solid background in order to benefit more from it’s natural resources.

President Buhari commissioned many projects executed by the Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje which include kofar Ruwa Underpass, Murtala Muhammed Flyover which was started by the Kwankwaso administration among others before departing.

In his speech at Sani Abacha Stadium, Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje commended the president for restoring the lost glory of the nation, and assured him that Kano will give him 5m votes at the presidential election, because according to the governor, Kano is in support of continuity.

The Emir of Kano, Malam Muhammadu Sanusi II, thanked president Buhari for boosting Nigeria’s economy and promised to continue counselling the Federal Government on issues related to national development in order to make things better.

He prayed for the peaceful conduct of the forthcoming general elections.
