2019: Stay Away From Violence, Sa Gbagyi Tells Youth, As Ekene Empowers Romi Community

Ahead of the 2019 general elections, the paramount traditional ruler of the Gbagyi Kingdom in Kaduna State, SA Gbagyi, Dr. Danjuma Bards has appealed to youth to stay away from violence.
He expressed this, when a youth from his domain, Honourable Ekene Abubakar Adams empowered women and youth with kits worth millions of Naira on Sunday at the Boys Brigade Field, Romi, Kaduna.
SA Gbayi, represented by his son and heir apparent,  Benjamin Danjuma Bards who is the Yariman SA Gbagyi, said that without peace, there can be no development.
“HRH wished to have been here but he gave me message to give the deliver. He asked me to tell the youth that without peace, there would be no development.
” Not minding religion, ethnic group and where you are coming from, God created us yo be together and we must continue to remain one.
“For the youth, he told me to tell you to stay away and not allow yourselves to be used by desperate politicians as we approach the election year,” he said.
Speaking further, he commended Ekene Abubakar Adams for the empowerment programme, while calling on others to emulate him.
“In my 17 years of being in Romi, I have never witnessed an empowerment like this. I want to thank Ekene Adams for bringing this not just to Romi, but the Gbagyi Kingdom,” he added.
Ekene Adams, who is aspiring to be the member representing Chikun/Kajuru Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives distributed power generating sets, sewing machines, hair dryers and clippers worth millions of Naira to several women and youth in the first phase of his empowerment programme.
Cash empowerment ranging between ten to twenty thousand Naira was also donated to several petty business men and women in the community.
