Stakeholders of the All Progressive Congress (APC) from Kebbi North Senatorial District, consists of Argungu, Augie, Bagudo, Arewa , Dandi and Suru local governments areas of Kebbi State after a meeting on Thursday, agreed to re-elect President Mohammadu Buhari and Governor Abubakar Bagudu of the state come 2019 general elections.
Speaking during their endorsement meeting held at Grand Fishing Hotel, Argungu in Kebbi State, leader of the forum, Ambassador Isah Mohammed Argungu told the gathering that caucus in the areas have agreed to reelect both President Buhari and Governor Bagudu for their excellent performance withing three years in office.
Ambassador Argungu said” President Buhari has restored the insecurity, improved economy, united politicians and fight corruption among others in the country.’
“He also disbursed soft loans through Bank of Industies where many women and youths benefited in the northern part of Nigeria.” he added.
Back to Kebbi, the leader of the caucus noted that Bagudu has transformed Birnin Kebbi to a new model town like any other state capital in northern Nigeria which the previous governments failed to do within their 16 years in office.
According to Argungu, Kebbi has never witnessed tremendous achievements interns of agriculture, education, health and rural infrastructure than in this present APC-led administration in the state under Bagudu.
Ambassador Isa Argungu later took the letters of their endorsement to Governor Abubakar Bagudu for onward submission to President Buhari which he presented at Government House, Birnin Kebbi.
