2019: APC Gives Persons With Disabilities Top Priority In Zamfara


The All Progressives Congress (APC), Zamfara State branch has reiterated  the determination of the party to give physically challenged persons top priority to contest in the 2019 general elections in the state.
This was made known by the state party chairman, Alhaji Lawal Muhammad Liman when he hosted state women leaders group of physically challenged persons who paid him a solidarity visit in his office on Thursday.
According to him, the party regarded the entire physically challenged persons group as Paramount and therefore the need for them to  come out and contest for any position of their choice in the 2019.
“Our leadership will make sure equality among every members of our great party when it comes to the matter of contesting any position next general elections for the sustainability of unity and progress of APC in Zamfara state and beyond”. He said.
He assured them that, the party will continue working hand in hand with physically challenged persons in the state for the progress of his leadership, calling on them to always remain united and obey the leadership of APC both at federal, state and all the 14 local government areas of the state.
In their separate remarks, the state chairpersons, Women Blind Group, Women Deaf Group and Women Crippled Group, Malama.Hauwau Salisu, Malama. Fatima Aliyu and Malama Zulaihatu Muhammad said, they were in the office of the state APC chairman to to show their solidarity to his leadership and also appealed to the state APC leadership to carry them along for the development of APC in the state.
In his goodwill messages, the state secretary of APC, Alhaji Sani Talata Mafara charged them to go and get their permanent voters card as registration is still ongoing for them exercise their civic responsibility in the next general elections.
