2019: Adamawa Govt Backs Buhari, Says Atiku Poses No Threat

Governor Jibrilla Bindow of Adamawa State
As the race for the 2019 election takes a new dimension, with the emergence of candidates, the Adamawa State Government  has declared its total and unalloyed  support to the candidature of President Muhammadu Buhari.
The declaration was made to address issues arising with the emergence of  former Vice President  Atiku Abubakar, (an indigene of Adamawa) as the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP),  which seems to have  polarised the  State.
Comrade Ahmed Sajoh, state Commissioner of Information and Strategy, who spoke  at a press conference Monday in Yola, the Adamawa State capital
declared in unequivocal term that the  government is not disturbed over the emergence of Abubakar as the Presidential Candidate of the PDP.
But rather condemned the cheap political blackmail of designing a poster of Governor Bindow with the presidential candidate of another party.
According to the Commissioner, it is a wicked attempt to tarnish the image of the governor.
” For the avoidance of doubt, Bindow is for APC, he is an APC Governor working for APC and has no intention to support or canvass support for any presidential candidate outside APC, he has no support for any candidate other than Buhari”.
“Governor Jibrilla has no intention to support any other candidate or any other political party or parties except President Muhammad Buhari and the APC, he is committed to proving that his people appreciate the leadership of Buhari, his social re investment programmes”, Sajoh stated.
The Commissioner pointed out that  Buhari had done a lot for Adamawa State since he became president to make the people prefer him to any other candidate.
