The All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for Imo State,
Senator Hope Uzodinma has vowed to liberate the state from the shackles of underdevelopment and political bondage, if given the mandate in 2019.
According him, “Imo state is now in dire need of liberation from draconian administration of one family controlled by one man.”
Addressing a mammoth crowd shortly on arrival to the state from Abuja
on Wednesday evening, since after the primary election in the state, Senator Uzodinma, further pledged that Imo State must be good again after eight years of suffering.
The APC governorship candidate, added, “we will have a government of transparency, local government councils will once more begin to function and our royal fathers will be accorded their due respect, honour and recognition and I will run an all-inclusive government”.
He continued, that “the battle has been fought and won and I plead with all those, who contested the primaries with me to join me to liberate our state from its current state of abyss. Enough is enough”
Senator, Uzodinma expressed gratitude to the party members for the confidence reposed in him by giving him their votes during the party primary election.
Being happy by the warm reception accorded by the members of the party, he described the National Chairman of APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole as a man of principle and integrity, pointing out that he despite pressures, remained firm and resolute against injustice and iniquity.
He told the people that “With your votes, I will run a government with a human face, and create wealth to wipe away the tears of the man in the street”, he contended.
