looters of public funds in the country.
The group however acknowledged the support being given to the group by Governor Kayode Fayemi in the area of empowerment to over 50,000 members as the reason behind the action.
The new State President of the Association, Mr. Ebenezer Fadipe made the disclosure in Ado- Ekiti, the state capital on Monday after emerging in the election conducted to usher in a new set of executives.

He expressed readiness to work in tandem with the state government to better the lives of his members, especially in the area of empowerment for members to ease productivity and complementary service delivery to the people of the state.
“We will ever be grateful to Governor Fayemi for all he did for us in his first term. He sent many of our members for holy pilgrimage to Mecca, Israel and gave many political appointments and for a vehicle he donated to carry out our operations.
“Governor Fayemi had made us proud and for this singular reason and for what our President,Muhammadu Buhari has been doing to reposition Nigeria, making President Buhari get re-elected has become our collective project in 2019.
“I want to say emphatically that President Buhari’s reelection bid is sure in 2019”, he said.
Fadipe promised to run an open door policy and build a virile and dynamic association for artisans that can deliver on its mandate of providing affordable and quality services to Ekiti people.
He urged the members to always join hands with Fayemi’s government to build a virile state that can fight poverty and confront all forms of economic deprivation that are ravaging the system.
“Artisans are rendering unquantifiable services to the people. The government, private organizations and individuals need our services and these made it mandatory for us to join hands with government to make our society better.
“When government is trying to normalize the system, we must play complementary roles by paying our taxes and refrain from charging arbitrary prices for our services to make our society stable .
“This country can only move forward when the public and private sectors work together with the ultimate aim of making the lives of people better. We are aware of this and we will stop at nothing in working with Governor Fayemi to make the task of reclaiming our glory and restoring our values realizable”, he added.
