Annual Range Classification Of Nigerian Army School Of Military Police Begins Monday

The Nigerian Army School of Military Police Basawa, Zaria  would conduct its Annual Range Classification at  shooting range located at Tohu and Kabama villages in Sabon Gari Local Government Area of Kaduna State, from   Monday 19 to Friday 23 November 2018.
According to a statement signed by the acting Assistant  Director Army Public Relations  Depot Nigerian Army/Nigerian Army School of Military Police,  Lieutenant Adekunle Adeyemi Akinleye said the annual range classification is a routine activity aimed at assessing the proficiency of the troops on their weapons handling.
He said the exercise would involve firing of live ammunition using small arms as the authority has put in place safety measures and precautions to ensure a safe and hitch free exercise.
However, residents of Dogarawa, Tohu and Kabama villages are advised to stay away from the range general area within the scheduled period.
The statement further advised residents of the affected communities not to panic seeing movement of troops and hearing the sound of gunshot as it is a routine exercise for soldiers of Nigerian Army School of Military Police.
