Banditry: Zamfara Acting Governor Commends Military On Success

Zamfara State Acting Governor, Malam Ibrahim Wakkala Muhammad has commended the military for the current successes being recorded in the fight against banditry and kidnapping in the state.
A statement by the Director of Press Affairs, Deputy Governor Office, Alhaji Yusuf Idris said the level of success of the joint military operation is being appreciated by all Zamfara State citizens.
“The feat so far achieved in three local government areas of Zurmi,Shinkafi and Maradun by the joint military operations has reawakened the hope and confidence of the people in the state that peace will return”, he said.
The acting governor prayed that the joint operation will be expanded in all the local councils across the state with a view to rid the state from all forms  of criminality ranging from kidnapping, cattle rustling and armed robbery.
Wakkala commended president Muhammad Buhari for the recent deployment more military troops in the state.
The acting governor appealed to the people of the state to support the joint military operations to end banditry and other criminal activities in the state .
