Oyo 2019: No Going Back In My Governorship Ambition – Alao-Akala

All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship aspirant and former governor of Oyo State Otunba Adebayo Alao-Akala on Saturday said there is no going back in his decision to contest the 2019 governorship election in the state.

Otunba Alao-Akala stated this during a chat with newsmen short after his arrival to Nigeria  after a two weeks trip to the United States of America, Paris and the United Kingdom to meet  with various Interest Groups and Socio-Cultural Organisations made up of Oyo state Indigenes residing  in these Countries to discuss his Vision and Mission as an Aspirant in the forthcoming Gubernatorial Elections in Oyo state next year.

The APC governorship aspirant insisted that he  his as us usual ready to govern Oyo  state with the fear of God and as well be more  committed  to the ideals and cardinal Objectives of the ruling All Progressives Congress if elected as the next governor of Oyo state.

On the just released time-table for the conduct of  Primaries into the various elective positions in country in the All Progressives Congress, Otunba Alao-Akala said the release of the time table was  timely and well taken as it will no doubt  put a stop to the series of  Insinuations bothering on his desire to run as governor of the state in the 2019 general election .

The APC governorship aspirant in Oyo state while congratulating  the  Muslims faithful for the peaceful celebration of the just concluded Eid El Kabir, attributed the current peace and tranquility in and across  the country to the  commendable Leadership trait of President Mohammadu Buhari whose administration has been able to put under check the series of skirmishes that took place in around the country in times past.

The former governor while commenting on the partial demolition of the Music House owned by Dr Yinka Ayefele, Otunba Alao-Akala lauded the fatherly role of the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi who led other traditional rulers in the state to appeal to the Governor on behalf of the Management of Music House to temper Justice with Mercy as well as commending  the efforts of other Key actors in the reconciliatory move for their timely Intervention in finding a lasting solution to the Crisis.

Otunba Alao-Akala however  commiserated  with the family of the  Late Chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers Alhaji Taofeek Oyerinde who passed on recently he prayed God will grant him Aljana fridaus.
