As Eid-El Kabir is approaching, prices of rams and other livestock have become cheaper in Kano local markets as investigated by our correspondent.
Most of the livestock sellers told New Nigerian that this year, the price of rams and cattle is very affordable for people of all categories, while small animals like hens, turkey, fowls, geese and goats are found everywhere on the streets for sale.
Malam Muhammadu Dan Fulani of Badume Market said that people are trying their best in buying rams and other animals for Sallah festivals despite the economic challenges, while the cattle sellers were also busy making sales as usual.
It would be recalled that Kano State Government paid its workers few days before Sallah which is a commendable effort from the Ganduje administration, with the workers hailing the development.
