The Federation of International Basketball Associations (FIBA) has announced the commencement of a media accreditation process for the fourth window of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 qualifiers.
According to FIBA’s Communications Director, Patrick Koller, the online portal opened to members of the media community on Monday, 13th of August.
Local and international media representatives wishing to cover the Group F qualifiers in Lagos, Nigeria should apply for accreditation online, through the FIBA Media Portal.
Journalists who have not previously registered with the Portal will need to create a profile before completing their application while accreditation procedures for Broadcast Partners (Rights-Holders) and Host Broadcasters will be communicated separately by FIBA Media.
Media credentials will be awarded on the basis of the professional history of the applying media, relevance to the event and basketball in general, as well as space availability at the venues.
The Nigeria Basketball Federation enjoins all interested journalists to avail themselves of the opportunity before the Monday, September 10, deadline.
