The current Imo State Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere has promised the people of the state that if he becomes the governor of the state come 2019, his administration will give priority to the provision of functional health care system .
Speaking recently, during the commissioning of the secretariat of Alberta Foundation, a non governmental organization in Owerri the state capital.
Prince Madumere vowed that the current ailing health sector and social welfare scheme in the state will receive maximum attention if given the mandate.
He decried the level of decay in this sector, nothing that the situation has grossly affected the living standards of the people of the state.
According to him, the most worrisome is the health condition of the infants and the aged, stressing that urgent actions must be taken to address the ugly trend.
The Governorship aspirant said that he has already developed a blueprint on how to give the people the healthcare delivery system they deserve .
He pointed out that social welfare and the healthcare delivery system are very essential to the wellbeing of the citizenry
The Deputy Governor commended the proprietor of the non governmental organization, Mr Gideon Asilonu for deeming it fit to establish the project in the state capital .
