“We just received the letter this morning (Wednesday). The people at the ward and LG level have the right to decide and determine what happens to their representative since politics is played locally. Our party made a promise before the election which made people vote for him because he uses their ticket. What I expect from him was that if he felt I different about anything, he should have gone to the people who voted him in and resign his membership of the party”, he said.

Dr Olatunde added “but, having received the letter, we will look into it and invite him to investigate all the allegations in the letter. Until that is done, the state executive will not decide on anything and as soon as we conclude our investigations, we will get across to you”
