Federal College of Education Zaria has integrated 10 Almajiris by training them on various skills to make them self-reliant.
The Provost of the college Dr. Ango Abdullahi Ladan stated this during commissioning of seven  shades constructed by the college management.
He said the training of the Almajiri on how to source a living without begging anybody will definitely reduce the high rate of idleness and committing crimes.
On the shades Dr.  Ladan said two were constructed at the main gate to disconnect the entrance.
The Provost said the shades would provide an enabling environment for teaching and learning.
According to him,  more shades would be provided in the remaining part of the college in line with their policies.
Speaking while commissioning the projects, the Chairman Governing Council of the college Dr. Bello Yusuf Lafiyaji commended the management for executing the projects as he advised.
Lafiyaji said during his tenure he will make sure meaningful developmental projects are executed.
