The Senator expressed this while speaking with Barnawa APC elders when a woman raised the challenge on what Southern Kaduna is facing during a courtesy call on Monday.
According to him, the ugly situation in Southern Kaduna is not an exception, stressing there that there was the need for all hands to be on deck to nip the situation with all sense of sincerity.
“If there is no peace in Southern Kaduna, there is no way Kaduna State will be in peace. We must stay together as long as God brought us as one,” Shehu Sani added.
Shehu Sani disclosed that,” Southern Kaduna is faced with four problems, Issue of Christians and Muslims which has been there for more than forty years, clashes between farmers and herdsmen, visitors and indigene and people who hide in the bush to attack innocent people at night for no reasons.
“What is happening now in Southern Kaduna has happened in Birnin Gwari, Zamfara and other parts of the the country.
“There must be a holistic approach in stemming the situation. A poor man in Southern Kaduna is faced with the same problem with a man from Zaria which is caused by corruption,” he pointed out.
He noted that, during the era of Saudauna, a Kataf person, a man from Kano and Katsina are all one but today showing differences has grown to be a cancer in our generation.
According to him,” If you remove General Muhamadu Buhari who declared his asset, nine per cent out of ten are corrupt. If you have not forgotten, it was not APC that killed PDP but its members. It was not a skin disease that killed PDP but stomach pains, injustice and lack of truth which is now happening in APC,” Shehu Sani added.
Senator Sani urged Barnawa APC elders to be conscious of some political leaders who do not care about their well being but in the next eight months they will start seeing them and their posters.
“The colossal amount of money being spent on the media to attack, to insult Comrade Shehu Sani is enough to do good projects,” he stressed.
He adviced the elders to deliberate on a project that will benefit Barnawa Community to be sponsored by him.
The elders in their different submission thank the Senator for identifying with them.
According to them, “we have not benefited anything from this government. We are facing challenges of our youth unemployed and women not being empowered.
The elders further prayed for him to continue the good works he has been doing, assuring him of their support him to become the next Governor of the state.
