2017 budget: Kaduna Commissioners promise proper implementation

Commissioners under Kaduna State Government have promised to diligently implement the 2017 budget.
They stated this at a roundtable held at the Secretariat of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Kaduna on Saturday.
The Commissioner of Budget and Planning, Alhaji Muhammed Sani Abdulahi, said with the way the state government is strategies there will be a better tomorrow.
He also pointed out that there is the high rate of child mortality in the state due to poor hospital facilities especially in the rural area adding that in 2017, the menace will be dealt with.
In his comment the commissioner of Education Professor Andrew Jonathan Nok said the dilapidated schools in the state have been worrisome as such the need for rehabilitation and to be equipped with modern facilities.
The Commissioner of Work Housing and Transport, Alhaji Hassan Usman also highlight on how the present administration is building on zero percent implementation.
He added that 2017 budget have 24.5 billion naira for the ministry saying  the dualization of kawo road to Lugard hall the government inherited the project and only 25 percent was paid.
The acting chairman Nigeria Union of Journalist Kaduna State Council, Comrade Zhiroh Jairus Jatau said the roundtable discussion is an opportunity for members of the press and public to be better informed on what the administration is providing for the overall development of the state.
