All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairman in Bauchi Local Government Area, Alhaji Rabiu Shehu Danbaba has observed that the raging feud between Governor Mohammed Abubakar and the National Assembly members representing the state christened ‘Abuja Politicians’ will impede the socio-economic and political development of the state.
Danbaba told newsmen during a chart in his office Thursday that the crisis rocking the State Governor, Mohammed Abubakar and his cohorts, and members representing the state in the National Assembly is an impediment to the provisions of any democracy dividend to the people.
According to him, what the present economic situation urgently requires is the need for elective office holders to rise above their personal interests and or differences and forge a common front with common unity of purpose to deliver good governance to the people whom they represents.
“It should be wake-up call for our leaders to come together for the purpose of rescuing the state from the doldrums of developmental projects.
The Bauchi APC Council Chairmain however assured that the State Executives of the party will soon mediate into the crisis, saying the party is bigger than any individual member (s) as it was the platform that made the elected members what they are today.
Danbaba, who noted that the party stakeholders crisis has also affected members of the State Legislature, explained that APC in Bauchi is working round the clock to put its house in order for the overall interests of the party, electorates and the people generally.
Alhaji Rabi’u Danbaba further urged the warring factions to bury their political differences in order to achieve a common political goals.
