Kaduna State Independent Electoral Commission
(KADSIECOM) has restated its readiness to ensure a level play ground for all political parties in the forth coming Local Government Elections in the state.

Audu stated this at a one day stakeholder’s sensitization programme towards educating the electorates on electoral process in Kaduna before the election.
Audu said KADSIECOM is committed to conducting free, fair credible and accepted election when the time comes.
According to her, SIECOM is responsible for conducting voter and civic as well as public Education in order to promote knowledge of sound democratic electoral process.
She noted that the electorates need to be educated on the processes of elections as it is the bedrock of democracy in which representatives in government are produce through a free and credible election.
The KADSIECOM Boss also called on the electorates to
always watch and monitor the performance of their leaders.
Keynote Guest Speaker at the event, Professor Andrew
Nkom who spoke on the theme “Welfare of Citizens as the Central Focus in a Democracy”, stressed the need to enlighten the public on electoral process, and called on elected leaders to be faithful and sincere to the electorate by fulfilling their campaign promises.
On his part, chairman of the occasion, Alhaji Ladan
Abubakar said politicians must learn to accept defeate during election, adding that all stakeholders should ensure violence free elections and must play their part to ensure free, fair and election.
The theme of the one day sensitization programme on electoral process was “Towards Effectively Implementing Electoral Process for the Development of Kaduna State”.
