FCT Minister appoints Nasarawa Newsday Abuja Bureau Chief as Media Aide

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mohammed Bello,has appointed the Chairman of the FCT Press Corps, Alhaji Abubarkar Sani as his Special Assistant on Media.
Bello announced the appointment Wednesday during an interactive session with members of the media.
Earlier, the Minister called for the support of journalists covering the activities of the FCT, saying, “you are the eye and the vanguard”.
He assured them that “as long as I am here we are going to work closely”, saying that the present administration of President Muhammed Buhari came into being following the yearning of the generality of the people for change in different facet of the country.
Bello, who pledged good governance of the FCT, stressed that “good governance has to have ultimate objective which is for all of us to live a good life.” He therefore urged the press to join the change mantra.
In an address, the newly appointed SA Media, commended the Minister for his track record while piloting the affairs of the National Hajj Commission.
He expressed optimism that the Minister will replicate same in the FCT, pledging the support of the Press Corps.
Until his appointment as the SA Media, Sani was the Bureau Chief of the Abuja office of the Nasarawa NewsDay Newspaper.
