The 16th FCT Minister assumes office; promises change

The 16th Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja, (FCTA) Alhaji Mohammed Musa Bello has assumed office and pledged to make the FCT a better place than he met it.
The Minister who made the pledge when he met some of the Directors and staff in the FCT Wednesday in his Area 11 office, said he was in the FCT to build on the achievements of the previous 15 Ministers and charged all the staff not to lose focus on the FCT mandate in order to surmount future challenges.
Speaking further Bello said failure in his administration would be a professional failure but called on all the professionals to jointly harness their experiences and capacities towards building a better capital territory.
The new FCT Permanent Secretary Dr. Babatope Ajakaiye also assumed office earlier today and was also at hand to receive the new FCT Minister.
In his welcome address, Ajakaiye expressed optimism that the new Minister would bring in the necessary change that the FCT residents have been yearning for.
