The Chairman of the committee, Hon. Yakubu Gumshar disclosed this during a press conference to mark the commencement of the exercise which will last for two weeks.
He assured that all those identified by the committee to have relevant papers to show that deposit was made to the Board will receive a fair hearing.
According to him, the assignment giving to them is to investigate the problems that led to the deferment of the 2014 intending Hajj exercise.
The chairman further explained that “we are not after anybody but we are only doing what the government asked us to do, and we are not thinking of robbing  any individual because we don’t know what the state government will do after we give our report“.
He said the state governor, Simon Bako Lalong has made good use of his campaign promise to look into the complains made by people in the state.
