14 States battle for honour in Ramat Cup

As this year’s Late General Muritala Mohammed Cup tagged “Ramat Cup” for U-16 boys soccer tournament serves off in Kano no fewer than 14 States will be jostling for honour accordingly.
The championship organized by Youth Sports Federation Of Nigeria (YSFON) in conjunction with the Kano State Government saw the likes of Ogun, Kaduna, Rivers, Lagos, Kastina, Zamfara, FCT Abuja, Rivers, Anambra, Plateau, Bauchi, Kaduna, JIGAWA, Yobe and host Kano State are all set to ignite the ancient city of Kano.
According to the National Secretary, Patrick Okpavurhe all participating teams had been duly screened with their ages and medical fitness satisfied okay for this year’s tournament. “So we are looking forward to witness a tournament of standard and by extension produce for the country our greater tomorrow”.
Earlier, the President Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna had enjoined all the teams present to be of good conduct during and after each of their respective games. This he told them after welcoming them to a successful championship at the end of the day.
