‎Buhari Jets Off To London For 3 Weeks Vacation

The President has written the National Assembly, notifying it on his decision to proceed on the 10 day vacation which he explained will commence from Monday 23rd January, 2017.

The President in the letter dated 18th January, 2017 which was read to members at both chambers of the National Assembly, explained that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo will perform his functions in acting capacity.

“In compliance with section 145(1) of the 1999 constitution (as amended), I wish to inform the Honourable House that I will be away on a 10 working day short vacation as part of my 2017 annual leave, from Monday 23rd January to Monday 6th February 2017 and while I am away, the Vice President will perform the functions of my office,” the letter read.
