Zamfara PDP Governorship Candidate Alleges Votes Buying By APC

Zamfara State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Alhaji Bello Mohammed Matawalle has alleged vote buying by the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.
Matawalle made the allegations in his country home in Maradun town shortly after casting his vote at the Focal Primary School Polling Unit in Maradun South Ward of Maradun local government area.
He also alleged that inadequate supply of electoral materials particularly the national Assembly ballot papers in Kauran Namoda, Bungudu, Anka  local government areas of the state.
“In Kaura Namoda town, where our Senatorial candidate for Zamfara North voted, only 100 Senatorial ballot papers where brought while 1000 Presidential ballot papers where brought, that is on acceptable”, he alleged.
Matawalle added that he received a report of three ballot box snatching and also witnessed where an APC councillor was sharing money and and directing voters where exactly to thumb print.
He said information from Gusau indicates that seven polling units were without electoral materials.

“We don’t know if INEC has compromised and and is not ready for credible election and this is unacceptable, if there is no voting materials then they can say there  was no voting in these seven areas”, he said.
