Youths Sports Federation of Nigeria (YSFON) has announced that the second edition of the annual President Mohammadu Buhari National Peace Cup for U-18 boys will hold in Katsina, the Katsina State capital from April 29 to May 6th, 2018
According to a statement by the federation, signed by it’s National Secretary, Patrick Okpavuerhe, interested states who want to be part of the tournament are advised select 20 players who must be under 18 years as at May 31, 2018 with body weight of 65 kg and maximum height of 1.80 meters with three officials of whom one must be a a YSFON official.
The statement reminded states that arrival day for the championship is Sunday April 29th at the Katsina Township Stadium where a member of the national organising committee and the host state YSFON officials will be on hand to receive them even as it warned that late arrival would not be entertained.
” We want to remind all states that arrival date remains April 29th with screening of players taking place on Sunday April 30th at 7:00 am. Accommodation shall be provided at school hostels for all participating teams while all players are expected to come along with three passport photographs”, the statement noted.
The national body while advising states to make provisions for their feeding and local transportation reminded them to pay their affiliation fees before the date of the tournament.
