The Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria (YSFON), has commiserated with it’s National President, Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna over the death of his mother, Hajia Fatima Hassan.
A condolence message by the federation, signed by it’s National Secretary, Patrick Okpavuerhe, said that the federation noted his mother lived a fulfilled life and died at an old age of 70, but will be missed by those close to her which depends on her motherly advice.
The statement also prayed to the Almighty Allah to grant her soul eternal rest and by extension that God should at the same time give those she left behind the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
Hajia Fatima Hassan, mother of Gawuna, died on Tuesday after a brief illness and has since been buried according to Islamic rites.
She is survived by many children and grand children amongst whom is the YSFON President, Dr Yusuf Gawuna, who also doubles as Kano State Commissioner of Agriculture.
