Women Challenged On Utilising Potentials For Leadership

The female folks have been challenged to wake up from their indolency, utilize their potentials to obtain and deliver quality leadership for the advancement of Nigeria as they are better leaders and resource managers than men.
The National Woman Leader of Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU), Barrister Hadiza Mohammed made the call in an interview with New Nigerian in Zaria.
According to her, women have the capacity and ability, because of the sterling qualities they possess. If given the opportunity, women will transform Nigeria politically and economically she stressed.
“I have a vision of a good and better future for Nigeria if women are allowed to take their rightful positions in the political and economic arena of our nation” she argued.
The university Don said she is full of hope that Nigeria would sooner than later produce a female President, Governors and National Assembly leadership among others.
She however stressed that all these would not happened on a platter of gold until women take their faiths in their hands and utilize their God-given special qualities. She asserted that the female folks should re-think the notion that they need men to reach the peak despite their capability.
She implored every Nigerian female to begin to utilize the potentials and abilities with which she is endowed.
