Oyo State Governor-elect, Engineer Seyi Makinde has hinted that all the infrastructures in the state will henceforth be directly linked to the economy that has impact on the lives of the masses.
According to a statement issued by his spokesman Prince Dotun Oyelade,the governor elect made this known while delivering a Keynote address at a Workshop on Human Resource Management of Rural Farmers in Nigeria, organized by the Liverpool Business School and the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture IITA, Ibadan
The governor elect emphasized that one of his cardinal programmes as the governor of Oyo state will be Poverty reduction through agricultural value chain.
He maintained that it “is paying lip service to agricultural development if roads in the cities glitter while the roads leading to the food baskets zones are neglected.”
