Wife of the alleged Badoo kingpin, Chief Abayomi Alaka, Mrs Abimbola Alaka has raised alarm of alleged threat to her life and her children’s by unknown people.

Mrs Alaka who raised the alarm while speaking with newsmen also said the children of the alleged Badoo kingpin and other members of the family have not been at peace as the children have even been withdrawn from their school in Ikorodu because of the threat by strange and unknown people.

Specifically, Mrs Alaka declared that  relatives of victims allegedly killed by badoo cult are already threatening to kill her and the children, saying she is presently in a hideout for the fear of possible attack on her and the children by those threatening her and other members of the Alaka family and that life has become difficult for the family since the police began to trouble her husband.

“I can no longer move round town easily, some of the relatives of the victims are threatning to kill me and the children, for case which we know nothing about. My husband is innocent of the allegations leveled against him by the police,” she said.

Mrs Alaka however appealed  to President Mohammadu Buhari, Inspector General of Police and other stakeholders in the country  to come to the rescue of her husband and family from the on going embarrassment and to ensure the safety of her family.

Faulting the Nigeria Police action in declaring her husband a suspect through  the  Lagos State Commissioner of  Police  for alleged having  a shrine where badoo members take oats, Mrs Abimbola said, “why did the police refuse to reply to Alaka’s several petition of blackmailing by CP Edger?

“Why did the police refuse to appear in court if they truly have evidence? Why did the police declare Alaka wanted immediately the court granted the prayer of Alaka’s lawyer for hearing date?

“My husband was first arrested on the 18th of June and  released on the 19th of June 2017  on the condition that he should bring N10 Million, on 30th of June, 2017, he was re-arrested because he could not raise that large sum of money and by 31st of June, 2017, he was paraded and later released on 1st July’.”

Mrs Alaka maintained that since the “unlawful incarceration” of  her husband, herself, the children and other members of the family have not been at peace.

“I know my husband to be an honest and straightforward business man, he is not a criminal and never a cult member I want to urge the police to do  proper investigation and find out the truth”.
