The Sarkin Pawa Kaduna, Suleiman Sabo has hailed Governor Nasir el-Rufai for braving up to rebuild a bridge linking several communities in Tudun Wada, Kaduna South Local Government Area.
He expressed this when a team of journalists from the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) embarked on a tour of projects embarked upon the the Kaduna State Government on Tuesday.
“We are happy the job was started and completed. The bridge links communities in Tudun Wada. The bridge was constructed by Sardauna but fell,” he said.
Also speaking to newsmen, resident of the Tudun Wada Abbatoir Road where the project is located,
Muhammadu Anas said that they have been remembered at last.
“We are happy. We never knew we will get this. The development is great. We waited for like eternity till now,” he said.
Permanent Secretary Ministry of Works, Kaduna State, Murtala Dabo who was the tour guide, said that the completed Tudun Wada Abbatoir Road which is 375 metres and 100 metres retaining wall, with culvert, where executed at a cost of N105m.
