Suspected Herdsmen Burn Down Former SGF, Falae’s Farm In Ondo

The farm of the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Chief  Olu Falae was on Sunday after noon reportedly set on fire by suspected herdsmen.
The farm which is located at Ilado community in Akure North local government area of Ondo state, according to reports  has palm trees, cassava & yam.
The Chief Security Officer (CSO) to the former SGF, Captain Moshood Raji, who confirmed the incident to newsmen in Akure, said one of the policemen that was guiding the farm alerted chief Falae of the incident that occurred around 4 0’clock on Sunday’s afternoon.
Captain Raji said however that nobody  was attacked on the farm as workers were not on the farm being a Sunday.
When contacted the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for the Ondo State Command, Mr Femi Joseph said he was not aware of the incident yet as at the time of filling the report.
The PPRO promised to get in touch with the Divisional Police Officer in charge of the area for briefing.
The farm of the former presidential candidate had been attacked several times by herdsmen, who had at a time kidnapped the elder statesman for about five days.
