Super Soccer League Enters Third Round

This year’ s edition of the on- going Super Soccer League which started two weeks ago will on Friday, October, 12, 2018 enter it’ s third round.
According to the fixtures by the organisers made available to New Nigerian Sports, Puma FC will be up against Great Olympics in the first match of the  day while China Sun Stars will face Leaps FC with Team 360 taking on Oluwasegun FC  just as Jumez and Depros will clash in the last match of the day.
In some of the matches decided at the Hockey Pitch of the National Stadium, Surulere Lagos, Team 360 defeated Jumez .9-6 while Oluwasegun recorded a slim 6-5 victory over China Sun Stars with Depros beating Puma FC 9-7.
Meanwhile Technical Director of Super Soccer Federation of Nigeria, Elvis Reuben has expressed confidence that as the League progresses, many players will become accustomed to the rules of the game which does not give room for infringements just as he commended the management of Ogementus Fashion Stores for rewarding the winner of the raffle draw, Anthony Ajali with a pair of booth.
“Super Soccer is all about fair play and scoring many goals to the delight of fans. The players are gradually learning the rules of the game and as the League progresses, they will become accustomed to what it means to have a Super Kick and not commit infringements, corner kicks or throwing as is done in conventional football”, he stated.
President of the Federation, Evangelist Emeka Ehirim while expressing satisfaction with the number of goals scored so far in the League posited  that he expects to see more goals which makes the game different from normal football.
” I’ m happy that the League is living up to expectation with many goals scored which us the hallmark of Super Soccer and as the game progresses, we hope to witness a harvest of goals which is what the fans want”, he concluded.
