The gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State, Engineer Seyi Makinde on Friday cautioned the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state to desist from attempts to lure voters into releasing their voters cards to government agents.
Engineer Makinde handed down the warning in a release from his Campaign Organisation and signed by Prince Dotun Oyelade made available to journalists in Ibadan.
According to Engineer Makinde,the plot will not succeed because the people have seen through the desperation of the ruling party, adding that “APC will equally fail in its connivance with the Oyo State Signage and advertisement agency to frustrate attempts to install billboards belonging to the opposition in the state.”
The PDP governorship candidate stressed in the statement that ”
the imprint of Engineer Seyi Makinde is in the minds of the people and they will give him resounding victory during the March 2, gubernatorial election next year.
