“State of Osun” not in Nigeria constitution …disband apparatus with such names

National Chairman of the National Action Council, (NAC), Dr Olapade Agoro on Thursday said there was nothing like the “State of Osun” in the Nigerian constitution.
Dr Agoro in a letter titled “Demand Notice served on Mr Rauf Aregbesola, Governor of Osun State Nigeria” addressed to Governor Rauf Aregbesola, copies of which were made available to journalists in Ibadan, asked the governor to “disband immediately all Osun State Government apparatus” code named “State of Osun”.
The NAC leader in the letter dated 01/9/2016 personally signed by him also advised Governor Rauf Aregbesola to stop parading himself as “Governor of State of Osun” as well as explain to him within “the next 36hours of receipt” of the letter “your need, necessity and usage for an aircraft in the service of office of Governor of Osun State”
“Demand Notice served on Mr Rauf Aregbesola, Governor of Osun state Nigeria; Stop parading yourself as Governor state of Osun. Disband immediately all Osun state Government Apparatus you have illegally,unlawfully ,treasonably code named “State of Osun”, he stated.
Dr Agoro in the letter demanded that Governor Aregbesola should explain to him “within the next 36 hours of receipt of this letter why your alleged activities must not be reported to the law enforcement agencies at National and International levels”
“Explain to me within the next 36 hours of receipt of this letter; (a) your need, necessity and usage for an aircraft in the service of office of Governor of Osun state, and (b) Source of funding for same”.
Dr Agoro stated that Governor Aregbesola to within 36 hours carry out the specified demands, saying,“failing which I shall without further notice proceed into seeking redress action against you, your cohorts jointly and severally”.
