Senator Gaya Wins Kano South APC Senatorial Ticket

Incumbent Senator Kabiru Gaya of Kano South Senatorial District has emerged the party’s flagbearer of his party in the 2019 general elections.
He trounced two opponents by securing 1,035,057 votes, while his nearest rival, SA to President Buhari on National Assembly, Kawu Samaila got a paltry 309,306 votes.
The third aspirant, Yahaya Zarawa was only able to poll 15,643 votes.
The Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje who ensured that the primaries election was conducted in free and fair atmosphere, said the party chairman, Abdallahi Abass led exco also ensured level playing field for all aspirants under the supervision of the security agents.
