An applicant, Saraya Danladi Kode was murdered by three member gang of suspected ritualists in Zuru town, Kebbi State.
Late Saraya as it was gathered, was killed by the ritualists and dumped her remains in an old well in Sanga area in Zuru town around 10 pm in the night after they removed her private parts and breast and made away with it.
Before meeting her gruesome death, she was seeking a job in both Zuru and Rijau Local Government secretaiats after obtaining her Diploma in accountancy from Sokoto State Polytecnic in 2010.
Father of the deceased, Inspector Danladi Kode, an indigene of Kebbi State who is currently serving at Rijau Divisional Police office in Niger State, broke the news of his daughter’s murder by the ritualists to newsmen in his residence in Rijau town in Niger State after Police in Zuru and Mahuta Divisions failed to punish the culprits.
“You see when i noticed my daughter Saraya who was sent by her senior sister Naomi to One Alhaji Rabi’u  a bussinessman and politician in Zuru town since morning did not come home after midnight, I rushed to Zuru Police Division and lodged complain that my daughter was missing.” said Inspector Kode.
He added that “after two days I went back to see if there was any development but was told nothing and I therefore lodged another complain the following day. When I came back to find out if there was news about her, but was told nothing But only heard rumours going round that the three gang members’ Alhaji Rabi’u Zuru, Babangida Diri and Hassan Bedi were arrested over the incident and have been detained at Police Headquarters in Birnin Kebbi”.
But New Nigerian on-line gathered that one of the detained suspects, Alhaji Rabi’u Zuru was released on bail while the two others were still in detention.
Inspector Danladi therefore appealed to Inspector General of Police to come to his aid by directing Kebbi Police Command to investigate the remote course of releasing Alhaji Rabiu on bail while two members of group are in detention.
