Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Youth in Kaduna have come hard on Governor Nasir el-Rufai of Kaduna State for saying that the huge crowd at the flag off campaign of Atiku/Obi Presidential ticket in Sokoto last Monday was a rented crowd from Niger Republic, saying that the Governor was already jittery and apprehensive of his imminent failure and that of his party at the center to be reelected in the forthcoming 2019 General Elections.
In a statement to newsmen, PDP Youth Leader in Kaduna, Aliyu Bello said, Governor el-Rufai’s defamatory and libelous outbursts against perceived and imaginary political opponents which he said was the Governor’s stock in trade and a way of furthering his political fortune.
The Statement reads in part: “Governor elRufai did all he could to restrict himself from expressing the obvious fear of the ruling party after a large throng of PDP supporters shut down Sokoto in solidarity with PDP last Monday, but failed. “
” The unprecedented crowd in the history of Sokoto made up of mainly PDP members and APC turncoats had converged on the Seat Of the Caliphate at the flag off of PDP presidential election of the North West with its charismatic flag bearer, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar ( Wazirin Adamawa) and a host of PDP bigwigs in attendance.
” It was out of the grave fear that elRufai, notorious for defamatory and libelous outbursts insulted the PDP supporters as criminals and looters that must not be allowed to return to power and went ahead to swear that the crowd of PDP faithful was rented from Niger Republic.
” This is ridiculous and very uncreative lie which belies the desperation that the earth shaking Stimulation Movement is sweeping over the Northwest.
” el-Rufai has been described as a malicious liar .( He was more than that; he is a pathological purveyor of untruths and half truths with no regards for integrity) My Watch, Vol 2, page 110 by Olusegun Obasanjo”.
The statement added that the above assertion by Obasanjo should constantly remind the public that el-Rufai is  patently lacking in integrity to speak truth when put under the slighted pressure.
