“Buru deserves an award not only within the state but at the federal level to gear him up to do more in the promotion of peace especially among the youth who constitute the largest portion of Nigeria’s population.

“These are the kind of people we want in our society. People that promote peace among people, irrespective of their religion, ethnicity and tribe,” Adamu said.

Earlier, in his speech, a veteran journalist, Alh. Tajudeed Ajibade said: “Pastor Buru needs nothing but the prayers of everybody because of his mindset towards promoting peace especially in a state like Kaduna.
