7 Vehicles Recovered As Police Nabs Notorious Car Snatcher In Ondo

 A notorious car snatcher in Ondo State, Gbenga Fabode who specialises in dispossessing owners of vehicles has been nabbed by the Ondo State Police Command.
Parading the suspect along with other suspected criminals in Akure, the Commissioner of Police in Ondo State, CP Gbenga Adeyanju said, no fewer than seven vehicles were recovered from Fabode.
According to him, Fabode, specialises in taking Taxi cabs from owners with the pretext that he would run the businesses for them, only to come back in the night to pick the vehicle where owners packed them.
In his confessional statements to journalists, the suspect disclosed that he used to take his commodity to Mechanics in Abeokuta in Ogun state where he usually have ready markets at nothing less than N100,000 per vehicle.
Similarly,  one Ologuntuyi Opeyemi of Aule Quarters, Akure  reported that, unknown thief/thieves broke into her house and carted away her properties which include one HP Laptop 620 computer valued N150,000.00 (One Hundred and Fifty Thousand) with its charger, one Tecno P904 phone valued N120,000 (One Hundred and Twenty Thousand Naira).
Other items were one Lenovo phone valuedN35,000 (Thirty Five Thousand Naira), Laptop bag valued N8000 (Eight Thousand Naira), wristwatch valued N3000 (Three Thousand Naira), blue colour shirt and other valuable items. Total valued N316,000 (Three Hundred and Sixten Thousand Naira). 
Also,  One Sola Adeleke of Bolajoko area, Oke-Aro Akure was arrested in connection with the case of a stolen Tecno P904, some clothes, Laptop bag and a pair of Cufflinks were recovered from him. 
The Commissioner of Police also paraded One Tajudeen Shittu  of No 4 Eleyo Street Oke-Aro Akure who specialized in buying stolen Laptop was also arrested while the laptop computer allegedly stolen from Miss Ologuntuyi Opeyemi ‘f’ on the 10th day of February, 2018 was also recovered from him.
While assuring that all the suspects shall soon be charged to court, CP Adeyanju warned criminals to relocate out of Ondo State or face the wrath of the law.
