Plateau Officials Disobey Lalong On Withdrawal Of Cases Against Jang

The National Industrial Court Jos division was told how Plateau State Government officials acted contrary to the directives given by Governor Simon Bako Lalong to withdraw all legal battles instituted by the former administration.
Presided by Justice, Rabi Haliru Gwandu, the court was informed that despite the fact that the was adjourned  ‎ severally as applied by the state  ministry of justice, “ yet all effort aimed reaching the government machinery were frustrated.
He hinted the court that several other claimants who initiated cases against the Jang administration were settled in line with the directive of the state governor at the inception of his administration but wondered “ why the case of Sale Bayari appears different “.
The former executive secretary had earlier dragged the former state governor, Jonah David Jang to the National Industrial Court over unsettled salaries and allowances.
He claimed that his suspension by the then government in the state did not followed due process hence the decision to challenged the action before Justice ‎ Gwandu.
It would be recalled the state governor Simon Bako Lalong directed the immediate withdrawal of all legal battled against the state government during Jang administration.
