Peace has returned to the Ondo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, (OSOPADEC) in Obaile following last week’s disruption of activities by some exe militants over the ongoing amnesty programme.

The Police how ever dislodged the activities of the  ex militants after their refusal  to toe the path of peace in expressing their grievances with the amnesty programme.

A visit by our Correspondent  revealed  that the workers who resumed work yesterday after staying away since Wednesday went about their their duties without any apprehension just as some were busy with their promotion exercise.

Chairman of the Commission, Gbenga Edema in a chat with Journalists apologized to the workers for whatever embarrassment the incident might had caused them  last week.

He how ever  assured them that  their welfare and security shall remain the  top  priority of the Commission.

Meanwhile a handful of mobile policemen, Federal SARS personnel with two hilux trucks still maintained strategically positioned at the premises of  OSOPADEC..
