The secretary of the National Union of  Road Transport Workers (NURTW),  Kadawa Motor Park Branch, Alhaji Umar Na Gwandu has called on the passengers across the country to always board commercial vehicles from the motor parks  for safer  trips.
He made the call in an interview with our correspondent, where he gave many examples and ordeal encountered by those who usually enter commercial vehicles outside motor parks and end up in the hands of the men of the underworld where they are treated badly.
Alhaji Umar Na Gwandu added that boading commercial vehicles from authorised motor parks is the best option for passengers during journeys and the transport workers are regulated at evey station  in order to take extra care  of the people and their property right from the stations to their destinations which is a good treatment.
Commenting on the present fuel scarcity hitting Nigeia,  Na Gwandu  adviced the federal government to sanction any filling station that fails to abide by the price regulations of 145  Naira per litre  in order to ensure that all the filling stations adopt the controlled fuel price across the country.
He commended A.A.Rano and Matrix filling stations for selling their products at government price of 145 Naira per litre at all their stations despite the fuel shortage in the nation.
