Engineer Makinde however expressed his determination to do more for all underprivileged in the state if elected as the next governor of Oyo state, adding  that his administration will be devoted to the challenges of the under privileged .

Commenting on the present state of education in Oyo state, Engineer Makinde frowned at the  abdication of government roles in the education sector by the Governor Abiola Ajimobi led administration  and promised to turn all schools into model schools and not just a handful and as well restore the number of students per class to 30 with enough motivated teachers in schools.
