Oyo State Commissioner of Health, Dr Azeez Adeduntan has disclosed that over one million children in the state are to benefit from the measles vaccination campaign embarked upon by the state government.
The Commissioner said this while speaking at a news conference held in Ibadan to flag off the vaccination campaign in and across Oyo State.

According to Dr Adeduntan, children between nine months and five years across all the nooks and crannies of the state are to be vaccinated and that the first phase of the campaign would cover seventeen local government areas.
The Commissioner added that the second phase of the vacination would commence next week Thursday and to cover the remaining sixteen local government areas of the state, adding that there will be no going back in the
commitment of the present administration in Oyo state to transform the health sector and guarantee improved healthcare delivery for people of the state.
